Newsec Infra acted as exclusive financial adviser to the PNE Group on the successful sale of 60 MW Hultema wind farm, located in the southern part of Sweden. The wind farm was acquired by Reichmuth Infrastructure, a specialized asset manager, part of the private banking group Reichmuth & Co, focused on infrastructure investments in Switzerland and Europe. This marks Reichmuth’s first wind farm investment.
In addition to the sales process, Newsec Infra advised on a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with Axpo as well as on the structuring and execution of an innovative financing structure, jointly developed by the parties and the bank consortium of NORD/LB (Debt Adviser and Mandated Lead Arranger) and Siemens Financial Services (SFS) through Siemens Bank (Mandated Lead Arranger).
The transaction is Newsec Infra’s third successfully completed sell-side mandate for the PNE Group, after having advised on the sale of both Målarberget and Laxåskogen wind farms.
Omid Ashrafi, Managing Partner at Newsec Infra commented:
“We are very pleased for the continued vote of confidence, being able to support PNE on this transaction. We are also proud to be part of Reichmuth’s market entry and to work alongside Nord/LB and Siemens Bank in structuring an innovative financing package”
